Don’t blink because Valentine’s Day is only 11 days away! Wait? Didn’t we just celebrate Christmas? If you are like hundreds, no let’s say millions of others, right this minute you are in complete panic as to what to give that someone special. Well, we are going to make it easy for you. First, go pick up that bouquet of flowers from the florist and give them to her with a beautiful card. Let her enjoy the beauty of the flowers you have purchased, but don’t let her throw them out. Dry them and then bring them to us. Heck, you can even bring them to us, and we will let them dry. Then the magic happens.
Once the flowers have dried, my team and I will create a unique piece she can treasure for a lifetime. From earrings to necklaces and bracelets to add-a-beads, we’ve got it all!
But maybe you don’t want to give her flowers? We’ve got that covered as well. Right now we have beautiful jewelry and other items ready to be purchased and picked up. We’ll even take care of the wrapping. Visit our website to see our latest creations and then send us a message. Our deadline for orders is drawing near, so call us today at 404-644-8672.
You’ve heard the expression “there’s an app for that.” Well now there is even an app, make it several, to help you keep your resolutions for 2016. In a recent Vogue article, the magazine reviewed eight apps that can help make this year THE year you achieve your goals.
Want to run a half marathon? Try downloading the app, Strava. Not only does this app “track your runs while you have your phone, but you can also upload workouts manually or through a compatible GPS tracker. There is even a challenge section that changes each month to push you ever further.”
How about investing your money? Then you might want to look at the app called Robinhood. “This app, which won the Apple Design Award last year, lets you invest for free—avoiding the $10 fees other companies require. Plus, there is no initial investment requirement, which makes it the ideal place to learn the ins and outs.”
One of our favorites is the app called Epicurious, an app designed to help you eat less takeout. The app helps you learn to cook and offers a great variety of menus.
There are several others, but these were some of our favorites. A complete list can be found in the article. For us at Fleurenasci, our resolution is to continue to create more one-of-a-kind items for our wonderful customers like yourself. Happy New Year and may 2016 be the best year yet!
It is early in the morning on this 24th of December. Many are still tucked in their beds, while we are making the final touches to precious Christmas presents. In a few hours many will begin opening their gifts created by our team of elves and loved ones who put great thought into their gifts. It’s moments like this, that once again make us say Thank You!
Thank you to everyone who placed an order this year with Fleurenasci, told a friend about us or simply liked us on Facebook. This has been our biggest year yet, and we just can’t say thank you enough. We’ve enjoyed creating your keepsakes, and we’ve enjoyed getting to know people all over the United States! It has simply been an incredible year.
The Christmas season may soon be over, but may the true reason for the season stay with you throughout the year. And in 2016, remember Fleurenasci for all of your gift needs. Nothing makes us happier than providing a gift of a lifetime for family and friends.
Merry Christmas from the team of Fleurenasci!

I honestly can’t believe it’s Thanksgiving again! Didn’t we just ring in 2015? Well no matter, here we are and all I can say is thank you! This year I saw my company grow from a one woman show to a business complete with a partner and five assistants. Fleurenasci is now in funeral homes throughout the state of Georgia, and we are busy making Christmas presents for some very lucky recipients. Thankful is an understatement. I am thankful for each person who has told someone about Fleurenasci, and I am thankful for the shares and likes on Facebook and other social media outlets. I am deeply amazed and humbled when I get a call from someone who says, “my friend said I had to call you.”
I love doing what I do at Fleurenasci, but perhaps the most rewarding part of my job is when I hear from someone who has received a unique gift from us. There are sometimes tears when the gift was created as a way to honor a friend or loved one, but most of all there is gratitude, and that simply makes my day.
As we gather around the table tomorrow with loved ones and friends, please know that I will be thankful for each of you. May each of you have a wonderfully blessed day and make sure you leave room for dessert. Happy Thanksgiving from your friends at Fleurenasci.
Veterans Day is a special day for many of us. It’s a time to say thank you to those who serve so that we may be free. My dad was one of these fine men. You may or may not know, I am an Arizona gal and my dad retired at Williams AFB in Arizona. I graduated from Chandler High School and was married in Mesa, AZ. I tell you this so you know why I love a particular memorial so much! The memorial is Anthem Veterans Memorial and its truly a unique place to visit and remember.
The Anthem Veterans Memorial is a monument dedicated to honor the service and sacrifice of our country’s armed forces in Anthem, AZ. The pillar of pride provides a place of honor and reflection for veterans, their family and friends, and those who desire to show their respects to those service men and women who have and continue to courageously serve our county. And what I love the most is the Five Pillars. Here is some insight from the Memorial’s website.
Five Pillar Significance
- The five pillars represent the unity of the five branches of the United States military serving steadfast together.
- They are staggered in size with their appropriate military seal placements on each pillar based upon the Department of Defense prescribed precedence.
- At precisely 11:11 a.m. each Veterans Day (Nov. 11), the sun’s rays pass through the ellipses of the five Armed Services pillars to form a perfect solar spotlight over a mosaic of The Great Seal of the United States.
The 11:11 is such a strong angel number correlation to me, and it just brings a smile to my heart when I think about it. If you are ever in Anthem, you have to visit this beautiful memorial! So on this special day, I want to say “Thank You” to all veterans from everyone here at Fleurenasci!
Can you believe it’s almost Halloween? I know I can’t and we all know what Halloween means … the rest of the year will be flying by us! But let’s not look ahead and let’s focus on Saturday night. While Halloween is a great night for candy and creative costumes, we must remember to be safe. For those of us driving on the roads during trick or treat hours, be aware of your surroundings and any possible little goblins that might dart out in front of you. The little ones have one thing in mind and it’s all about the candy.
Some other great safety tips from safekids.org include:
- Cross the street at corners, using traffic signals and crosswalks.
- Look left, right and left again when crossing and keep looking as you cross.
- Put electronic devices down and keep heads up and walk, don’t run, across the street.
- Teach children to make eye contact with drivers before crossing in front of them.
- Always walk on sidewalks or paths. If there are no sidewalks, walk facing traffic as far to
the left as possible. Children should walk on direct routes with the fewest street crossings.
- Watch for cars that are turning or backing up. Teach children to never dart out into the street or cross between parked cars.
Trick or Treat With an Adult
- Children under the age of 12 should not be alone at night without adult supervision. If kids are mature enough to be out without supervision, they should stick to familiar areas that are well lit and trick-or-treat in groups.
Keep Costumes Both Creative and Safe
- Decorate costumes and bags with reflective tape or stickers and, if possible, choose light colors.
- Choose face paint and makeup whenever possible instead of masks, which can obstruct a child’s vision.
- Have kids carry glow sticks or flashlights to help them see and be seen by drivers.
- When selecting a costume, make sure it is the right size to prevent trips and falls.
Happy Halloween from Fleurenasci! We hope you all have a great and SAFE night!
